St Patty's Day a day of Green drinks

I'm a girl that always loves a holiday that allows and almost encourages a drink! Love one even more that celebrates food! And St Patty's day does all of those things! I started my weekend at Front Page News in midtown for brunch with some friends! I had a great breakfast if eggs and potatoes what every lady needs after a long night! And of course good company! From there we traveled to Blake's and sat by the window and had a few drinks and laughs taking lots of pictures of all the crazy shirts and outfits around. I have to say it was very funny all the green dye added to the drinks! Turns everything it touches green! The crowd was light for a Sunday but the weather really was not what we would would have wanted. Making the move to Ten around the corner for a change in venue was a nice idea they have a very yummy buffalo dip there it's a must try! Day became night and the crowd started to die down so I took my leave of the city I love to play in and went home.

I stopped at Marlows Tarver for a glass of wine and dinner. They have a great menu there. Now while I did not cook anything on my own this year. I had a good time and glad that I got out with my friends to relax and laugh!

The blog is short for mid week but this weekend will be something special! Making something very yummy!

Great eats!

Nuevo Laredo Cantina best Mexican in town

Nothing better on a bright and sunny afternoon than a margarita on the rocks and some good company. So this week I decided to go on an adventure and check out Nuevo Laredo Cantina located at 1495 Chattahoochee Ave NW, Atlanta, GA 30318. It's a great little hidden spot in Atlanta that has some of the best Mexican food you can find!  Walked in and got a table in the main dinning   area. Where you will find decor that is Charming and funny. Lots of pictures and some great signs! Chips and fresh salsa hit the table first. The chips are warm and salsa is fresh and spicy! The server came on and took out orders. We ordered margaritas on the rocks w salt now I will tell you the drink to order is the Cadillac margarita it's big and fantastic, but it was a week day so I went with the smaller one still as tasty just smaller!  The serve them by the glass or pitcher and prices start at $6.50.  Now I will have to let you in on a secret if mine. I have a weakness for a Chili R...

Kula the Revolving Sushi Bar

If I say Sushi, what would you say? YES! Is the only correct answer.  I had the pleasure of eating at the newest Sushi place in Doraville this week, called  Kula  it is an international brand, with 400 restaurants in Japan and this is the 13th revolving sushi bar in the US. They have places in California, Texas, and now Georgia.  Hosted by Davo Eda, the Public Relations Manager, he was so kind to invite me in to see the new place. He even let me bring a friend, so of course I brought my favorite lady Callie, to help me eat and take pictures.  We were introduced to Mr. Fresh, it is the plate holder for the conveyor belt, "he" holds the green plates of food and treats. There was a tutorial of how to grab the food from the belt, as well as how to order from the menu and dispose of your plates. Mr. Fresh keeps the food germ free, has a chip in it for timing and every 2 hours he lets a specialists know it is time to throw the food out. This ...

Oven Roasted Lemon Chicken

Happy Tasty Tuesday to all my followers. I hope you enjoyed the videos on how to break down a chicken. I'll start posting more videos to help with tips and tricks.  Sunday dinners are a big thing at our house and even more during Game of Thrones! I made a roasted chicken this week it was juicy and perfect for a Sunday night and you may not believe me it's not a hard item to cook.  What you will need:  1 whole chicken 5-6 lbs  1 lemon  1/2 cup butter cold  Herbs  Salt and pepper  Carrots  Potatoes  Onion Garlic 1 cup white wine  Corn starch  Take the chicken out of the packaging and clean the chicken. Make sure all the 'insides' are out of the chicken and that it is trimmed and dry.  Set the chicken aside  Take the herbs (I used parsley, basil and tarragon) and blend them with the cold butter in a small bowl. Then rub the butter all over the chicken under the skin and inside t...
