I love a spring day! I love a spring festival even more and Atlanta (midtown area) really knows how to do this well! Every year they start off spring with the Dogwood Festival in Piedmont park in the heart of Atalanta. And this past weekend it could not have been better. Sun was out the heat rolled in and the clouds stayed away long enough for us to enjoy our spring tradition. I started the day at Park Tavern restaurant on the fat side of the park I will have to say it is a great place to sit people watch grab a drink and a fantastic meal! The service is always good and so is the food! If you sit on the patio you can look out over the park and on a day like Sunday we got a little sun on our skin. We started out our meal w mimosa's and they treat you well here $14 gets you a bottle of champs and juice! We ordered the lobster king crab and spinach dip w pita chips.
