The 2 of Hearts

Being single in the world today is unusual to say the least. Lets begin with you cant met a good guy at a bar, so you go on line. This is the new way of love. You sign up on a few to spread the wealth around.  I wont name any but we all know the popular ones. But to this day the best place to met a guy is on Facebook. Got to love all that you can connect with through your friends list or better yet your FRIENDS friends list. So here we go! Ive been on Facebook for years, I have enough friends not to many or to little. A mix of family and friends from the present and the past. And of course the few people I follow for all kinds of reasons. I decided after a night of drinking (not my best decision) to reach out to one of these old friends of mine. Something had made me think of him, so we exchange a few texts and that leads to a call or two. It turns out we have a lot in common.  Have you ever watched someone get in to something and the whole time you think this is going to end badly

Many times Ive sat down to write, mostly on blogs that are already out there. I have a couple of pages on Facebook. (you can look them up BrokenMeatball and Mancation). I enjoy cooking and do it as often as I can, a blend of comfort food and healthy. I also love to bake I dont have much of a sweet tooth, but I love to bake and give all the sweets away. Being single is tough and the best way to not get down on yourself is to find something to do that you have a love for. A few years ago after leaving my long term relationship I moved in to this little 1  bedroom apartment. It was not much but I loved it. I invited my friends over all the time and cooked all the time almost every night. The food was good the company better. My friend suggested I name the kitchen, this way they have something to check in to on Facebook and foursquare and The Broken Meatball was created.  I decided it would be a new Italian restaurant with a spin on the dishes I grew up on.
