Lobster Rolls for Sunday Dinner

Hi all!  It's Sunday dinner on a summer night...so many things you can make. I personally love seafood.  So tonight I am making Lemon Lime shrimp on the grill and Lobster Rolls. Just add wine and your night will be complete.  First get live lobster they are not that hard to cook or break apart and are worth the extra work for all the flavor.  Second get a good shrimp these are 16-20 that mean you will get 16-20 shrimp in a pound.  Third you will need to cook and clean shrimp and lobster I will add a video later to help you get all the meat out. But below are pictures of the tools you will need.  For the lobster you will need crackers I have 2 types these little devices that help push and pick the meat out of sticky spots a roller if you will and I like to have kitchen shears they help cutting in to the tail   Cook the lobster in hot boiling salted water for 4-6 minutes they will turn red and start to float. What's for Dinner?

With everything that is going on I have had little time to devote to the blog. But as I settle in to the house and am enjoying all the summer fun here is some of the food I've been making at the Castle for the Viking and our friends.  First incase you didn't hear the news we are now married!  One of the first nights we had friends over for taco Tuesday to celebrate a birthday!  Salsa and Guacamole from scratch and all the fixings Chicken, beans and rice. We also had soft and hard shell tacos for guests to build their own.  Next when the weather started to get warmer I made Louisiana style BBQ shrimp on the grill for an appetizer. Some butter and rolls and it's a perfect snack.  Steak I love steak I almost love it as much as pork.  That same night we grilled a big piece of steak w some shrimp for dinner.  And a perfect tomatoe salad. I love all the colors of the salad.  More to come  Keep cooking!
